Best Study Spots on Campus

Even though Bishop’s University has a small campus, there are still countless places you can find for your next study spot. Are you more of an outdoors person? We’ve got you covered! Like to be close to the nearest coffee machine? We’ve got that too! We decided to share some of our favorite study spots on campus.

The Quad

One of the most recognizable spots on campus, the Quad is a large open space perfect on a warm day. Soak up the sun’s rays while reviewing the material for your next test. There are several benches available for you to sit on with flowers on their sides. Take advantage of the Quad to play Frisbee, do yoga, or just to hang out. You’ll have lots of fun and make new friends. We recommend you also bring a blanket so you can take a well-deserved nap.

The Gazebo

Located near the Quad, the Hugh & Paule Scott Gazebo is a more secluded spot but just as beautiful. The roof protects you from the elements, so it is the perfect study spot for rainy days or on days when the sun is just too hot. The quiet atmosphere is perfect for when you need a moment to separate yourself from the busy hustle and bustle of student life. The blooming trees add a romantic element to the area.

The Library Learning Commons

From modern décor to comfortable furniture, our newly renovated library is the new hotspot on campus. This area is different from the rest because you have direct access to books and computers that are not necessarily available outside its walls. You have the choice to work alone by a window or with others in a conference room. It is tailored to your needs!
