Fabulous Finds For A Foodie!

Hi there Gaiters!

I want to share with you some of my favourite places to eat in the area! Whether you’re in the mood for Thai, Mexican, or a variety of different foods, Sherbrooke has many diverse restaurants to choose from!

Shogun Sushi is one of the newer restaurants in Sherbrooke, and is one that is gaining popularity with students in particular! Who wouldn’t love the all-you-can-eat sushi lunch special for $13.00? My friends and I decided to go one afternoon and we had a blast! It was a great chance to sit back and relax, and eat as much as we possibly could!
Another really great place to wear your stretchy pants is Le Buffet des Continents! As suggested by the title, this all-you-can-eat buffet features foods from all over the world, including Italian, Chinese, and even a few Quebec favourites!

If the all-you-can-eat setting isn’t for you, then not to worry – I have some other really great restaurants in mind!

Café Classyco is a wonderful Mauritius restaurant!  The food is so authentic that some people are convinced the chef is originally from there! This restaurant offers a variety of fresh pitas & dips, along with delicious rice and pasta dishes!

Guacamole y Tequila is an excellent Mexican restaurant. Although some do not feel the food is as authentic, it is still enjoyable and the atmosphere is wonderful! Gather a group of friends and get ready to embrace the Mexican culture!

I’ve decided to save the best until last (in my opinion)! My favourite restaurant in Sherbrooke is called ChanChai! My friend and I are such frequent customers, we know the owner on a first name basis! I’m not even embarrassed to say that, because once you try the food, I am certain you’ll be a regular customer as well! This Thai restaurant offers a variety of Thai food, but their Pad Thai is exceptional!!

Well, it is approaching dinner time and I am beginning to drool as I think of all this food! If you come to Bishop’s, make sure to try out these spots. I promise that your tastebuds will thank you!
