Next Steps & Deadlines

You’ve been admitted to #Ubishops, now what? We have compiled a list of all the important steps and deadlines our future Gaiters won’t want to miss!

1. Congratulate yourself for being admitted to Bishop’s! This is a great accomplishment! Well Done! #UBishops #FutureGaiter

2. Review your offer of admission from Bishop’s and make sure you understand the conditions. If you don’t understand them, give us a call: 1-819-822-9600 ext. 2680.

3. Accept your offer of admission and pay the $350 tuition deposit online through your student portal found at www.ubishops.ca. The sooner you accept your offer, the sooner you’ll be ready to join #GaiterNation in September.

4. Apply for Residence by June 1st, 2019. The application is available on the Residence Services website: www.ubishops.ca/residence. BTW, move-in takes place on Saturday August 31st.

5. Make sure you have made arrangements to have your final official transcript sent directly to Bishop’s University from your high school, CEGEP, college or university. We need to receive these documents by August 1st.

6. Check out our events, webinars and campus tour program at www.ubishops.ca. We’re here to help you and would love to welcome you to campus, meet you in your region or chat with you via phone or email.

7. Watch your online student portal and email for information about course registration, which will begin in late June. We always suggest getting in touch with your program advisor or Department Chair to make sure you are on the right track, especially if you have advanced credit or want to pursue a double major, minor, concentration or any sort of program combination.

8. Pay your $800 residence deposit by August 1st. Pay your Fall semester tuition by September 30th.

9. You’ll be receiving information about Orientation Week and the start of classes soon, but before you know it, the end of August will be here.

10. Start collecting everything PURPLE you can – #BleedPurple!
