Wrapping The Semester Up!

Wrapping The Semester Up!

Hey BU!

Classes are done! Final projects are being handed in, exams are here and it’s really, really cold outside (but beautiful)! It seems crazy how fast the semester has flown by.

Second year so far has been different than first year. First year was all about meeting new friends, living on your own, understanding the workload and becoming self sufficient on campus. Second year is all about shopping, cooking, cleaning and homework for yourself or in my case with roommates. Both have and are teaching me lots, in a super fun way! I have learned the importance of budgeting not only my time, but money as well. Juggling so many things can seem like a lot, but as long as I make lists and keep my agenda up to date all will be okay.

Dance is all done for the semester, so that we can focus on exams. We had a showcase of our dances to make sure all our dances are looking good so we represent Bishop’s well at UNB in February. Fashion show dances have also started. I was fortunate enough to be chosen as a choreographer for Fashion Show, so we had auditions and have started choreography for an event that all of us dancers look forward to. Dance club is a busy, but great extra curricular. I was fortunate enough to meet so many awesome people through it and it helps keep me in shape.

I hope all my fellow gaiters have an awesome break! You all deserve it!

See ya in 2014 (that’s scary)

Kate 🙂
