Today I want to share what my experience at Bishop’s University has been like so far! It’s been a fun roller coaster ride with lots of ups and downs, but every day I get to learn something new and there’s never a dull moment.
The best part is all the opportunities available here. Whether it’s something I learn in class or an event on campus, I’m always discovering new things. Bishop’s offers so many chances and I feel like I’m learning more about myself and the world every day.
From Homesickness to Accepting My Second Home:
I arrived at Bishop’s in the Fall of 2023, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Psychology. Since I’m an international student and don’t have my CEGEP diploma, it’s a four-year program for me.
Being away from home isn’t always easy, but I’m making the most of it and finding ways to make it exciting! Now in my second year, things are going great so far. Every day brings something new to learn and experience. For example I did not check the weather app this many times on a daily basis.

The mix of different subjects helped me see things from new perspectives. Outside the classroom, this community helped me build lasting friendships and so many good memories that will forever be engraved in my brain. Bishop’s is preparing me for more than just a career. It’s shaping me into a confident, well-rounded person ready to take on any challenge.
The Adventure Continues:
My journey here is far from over and I can’t wait to see what the next chapters hold. Every day brings new experiences, new friendships and new lessons that shape me into the person I’m becoming.
